Hire Agreement including Terms and Conditions of Hire

It is the responsibility of the person who is hiring the items to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use.  Persons using the equipment do so at their own risk.

Please note that all persons using Party Time Ltd equipment do so at their own risk.  The person/s or organisation hiring the equipment will be responsible/liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use.  Our terms and conditions are for the safety of all people using this equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are fully adhered to at all times.

Notes :

  • The inflatable will be anchored safely, however it is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that there are no underground cables, pipes etc which will be damaged by the anchor pegs.
  • Most items require a 13amp 240V power supply (or generator at additional cost)

INSURANCE

Party Time Ltd holds Public Liability Insurance, which indemnifies the company and not the hirer.  Party Time Ltd will not accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment, however caused.  Party Time Ltd insurance only covers injuries caused by an equipment malfunction.  It does not cover you for accidents on the unit, improper use or boisterous behaviour.  Adult Supervision is required at all times.  Our Terms and Conditions must be signed prior to hire.  Additional personal liability cover can be arranged through your home insurance.  A copy of our Insurance Details can be emailed or faxed to the hirer.

Party Time Ltd agree to hire equipment to the hirer under the following Safety Instructions and Terms and Conditions being agreed to :  THE FOLLOWING SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE SIGNED ON DELIVERY OF YOUR EQUIPMENT, THE DELIVERY PERSON WILL PRESENT SAME TO YOU.  IF FOR ANY REASON YOU ARE UNABLE TO SIGN THE DOCUMENT, THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE STILL STAND, AND ARE VALID.

It is the responsibility of the hirer of equipment to ensure that the following safety instructions are adhered to :

1.     Adult supervision is essential while the equipment is in use.

2.     All persons shall remove their footwear prior to use.  Also animals, toys, sharp objects and food or drinks are not permitted on the equipment.

3.     No person over the age of 14 shall be permitted on the equipment at the same time as children aged 14 and under.

4.     Ensure that no persons are on or in inflatables while inflating and deflating.

5.     At no time should anybody climb onto the back walls or side walls of inflatables.

6.     At no time should there be overcrowding on the equipment.  It is recommended that children/adults of the same age group use the equipment at the same time.

7.     Under no circumstances must the equipment be interfered with or moved.  In the event of malfunction contact us immediately.

8.     The power point must be kept dry at all times.

9.     No person over the age of 14 years shall be permitted on equipment that has been hired for children.  Certain equipment is not suitable for adult use.

10.  Persons under the influence of alcohol or any intoxicant will not be permitted to use the inflatable.

11.  When the bouncing castle or other play equipment is hired out without the provision of supervision it has been brought to the attention of the hirer in writing or otherwise that: -

a.     Responsibility for supervision the inflatable or other equipment rests with the hirer.  Supervisor to be over 18 years of age.

b.     The equipment shall not be deflated or moved by the Hirer.

c.     The above safety precautions 1 to 11 should be adhered to by the Hirer.
